With just over a month in the conference regular season, the league has already seen drastic adjustments—controversial trade-ins, upsetting injuries, coaches getting fired and champion teams on a losing streak. The season is so intense and the teams are so fired-up that you can’t help but wonder who would be making the Playoffs come next year.

But before any of you even begin to worry about the Playoffs, try to assess the upcoming games first. It will be a great Game day-Sunday on the NBA as teams continue to battle on the hard court. Coming up on December 9 are games you shouldn’t miss. Let’s have a closer look at the two of the upcoming matches.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Toronto Raptors

The Clippers has been successful in the league thus far, winning six of their last 10 games and topping the Pacific Standings with a 12-6 record. Point guard Chris Paul has been a factor in the games as well. He tops the team in Assists and Steals, and ranks 2nd and 1st in the entire league for the same factors. Beating out Minnesota and Utah, and obliterating Dallas and Sacramento in their last four games, LAC is fueled to continue this stretch as they take on Toronto this Sunday.

The Raptors, on the other hand, has been moving slow thus far. With only four wins out of 19 games, and losing eight in its last 10 games, the future looks dim for the team. Especially with stalwart’s Landry Fields still off court for an elbow injury, Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, and Andrea Bargnani have to continue step up if they hope to win this one.

Denver Nuggets vs . New York Knicks

Carmelo Anthony and his squad will be facing his previous team and ex-teammates for the first time on Sunday. The two teams are expected to face each other head on: NYK will try to keep itself atop the East, while the Nuggets hope to get the eighth spot in the Western Conference standings. New York, however, will be on the advantage with a 13-4 record and a four game streak, compared to Denver’s 9-10 record losing to Atlanta in their last game. Expect league Top 3 Pointer, Carmelo Anthony, and league Top 5 in Steals, Jason Kidd, to be instrumental in the game.
